FAQ

Where can I buy AutoCell Electronics' products?

What is a CFL and why should I choose a CFL over Incandescent bulb?
CFL stands for Compact Fluorescent Light Bulbs. This kind of light bulb saves money and helps improve the environment. CFL's lasts up to 10 times longer than traditional light bulbs (also known as incandescent) and also help reduce the amount of mercury released into the environment. Since a CFL lasts 10 times longer than traditional bulbs, it decreases waste. It also helps prevent greenhouse gas emissions, which lead to changes in the global climate.

Do your lights have warranties?
Each bulb and product has a warranty. The warranty information is on each box.

What are the risks associated with Mercury? Should I be concerned using CFL's in my home?
CFL's are safe to use in your home. No Mercury is released when the bulbs are in use and they pose no danger when used properly.

How to dispose of CFL's after they have burnt out?
Please DO NOT throw used or broken CFL's into the trash. There are rules and regulations on how to dispose CFLs. Please visit www.LAMPRECYCLE.org or call 1-800-clean-up to find up to date directions on the disposal of CFLs.

What should I do if my CFL breaks?
